With nearly 30 years of experience, Gemini award-winning editor Dean Evans has credits in feature films, television and documentary. In 1997 Dean was first nominated for a Gemini for editing the national CBC series Utopia Café and winning in 1998 for the documentary Dad. Evans has also had success as a director with credits including the Gemini-nominated Prank Patrol, a top rated children’s series for YTV. Dean is a member of Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and Alberta Post Production Association (APPA).

Dean currently works as a senior picture editor for Dept.9 Studios, a company focused on scripted feature and television production.
